Szömörce Guesthouse in Balatonfüred welcomes larger groups: multi-generation families, families travelling together and groups of friends. It is rented only as a whole, so the house and garden are yours alone during your stay. It sleeps ten comfortably, and thanks to the three bathrooms there is no queuing in the morning. The house is open all year round, so we are happy to welcome you in autumn and winter too.

First floor: kitchen, terrace and billiard room

A spacious, well-equipped kitchen with a large fridge-freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, toaster, and both an espresso machine and a Nespresso coffee maker. Cooking for a big group is easy here. The kitchen opens onto the large terrace, perfect for morning coffee and evening conversations. This floor also has a shower room with WC.

The billiard room, created from the old cellar, is the favourite shared space of the house. In the evenings, this is where everyone gathers.

Second floor: bedrooms and lounge

Four air-conditioned bedrooms: three with two beds and one with three beds. One of them is furnished especially for children. Two bedrooms have a panoramic balcony, and the other two open directly onto the garden. There is also a lounge with a pull-out sofa for two, a TV and board games, plus two shower rooms with WC.

Garden

The garden has a barbecue and a fire pit, and the whole group can dine together under the pergola.

With small children

A baby cot, baby bath, high chair and changing table are available, so travelling with little ones is easy.

Parking and comfort

Closed parking for five cars, where your bicycles are safe too. Fast Wi-Fi, all bedrooms air-conditioned. The house is licensed for a maximum of 10 guests.

Good to know

There is a studio apartment in the basement, occasionally used by the owner. This part is not included in the rental.

The area

The house overlooks Lake Balaton and the Tihany Peninsula. The centre of Balatonfüred, the beaches and the Tihany Peninsula are just a few minutes away by car. You can also go hiking nearby, for example in the Koloska Valley or at the Lóczy Cave.

Prices do not include the local tourist tax (IFA), which is payable separately according to the current municipal rates.

Booking rules:

Minimum stay of 5 nights in high season (late June to late August)

Minimum stay of 3 nights during holidays (Easter, Whitsun, autumn school break, Christmas and New Year)

Minimum stay of 2 nights at other times

Off-season, a single night can also be booked
