SZIGLIGET CASTLE
One of the most visited castles in present day Hungary boasting 750 years of history. It is one among those few fortresses that have never been taken by the Turks during the 150 y Ottoman occupation.

FESTETICS MANSION
Its building started in 1745, completed (with 101 rooms) in 1887. Festetics Earls were generous supporters of culture, literature. The Helikon Library of the mansion is today the biggest baronial book collection (80.000 items) that remained intact in Europe. The mansion regularly accommodates prominent exhibitions and highly acclaimed musical events. The ‘House of Balaton Wines’ is worth to visit in the 500 y old cellar of the mansion. The 42 ha. Château Park is a nature reserve.
